Spring Arrives In Myrtle Beach SC

When March came to an end the pear trees were in full bloom.

On March 10th I took this picture of the first signs of Spring in the Myrtle Beach area. Within the next few weeks all the beautiful blooming colors of Spring will be out in all their glory.

Just in case you didn't know what makes the Myrtle Beach area such a great place to live. We have all four seasons. Snow may even fall every five to ten years but since it melts within hours we run out to take pictures to prove it really happened.

If you look in the middle of the picture you will see the flag on the golf course in North Myrtle Beach. Later that same day all the snow was gone.

OK! I know what you are thinking when you see snow in the Myrtle Beach area but just remember it is normally six to ten years between any snow and it melts soon after you take the pictures.

Snow or Sand In Myrtle Beach

I remember why we decided to move from Maryland to Myrtle Beach. February 6, 2010 two feet of snow where we used to live but sunshine and fifty degrees where we live now.

Busy Days For Real Estate

I've said in the past that the real estate market in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area had become active with buyers but nothing prepared me for the rush since Labor Day.

Our market is primarily those who want a second home or condo that they can rent for some income or use as their get-away and those who plan to retire in the near future. I help them find the best price for the best property to meet their needs. Even though I have talked to many other Realtors around the country that have said their market has also begun to move I am sure that some areas are still in for a rocky road, so I wish you all the very best.

20 Degrees in Myrtle Beach Tonight!

In Myrtle Beach we, Daffodil's, start blooming during the first week of February every year. Did I just hear someone say it's going down to 20 degrees tonight? If that's not a joke a blanket would be nice.

Orange for Fall in Myrtle Beach

In November the colors of Fall come to the Myrtle Beach area. The leaves on the trees begin to turn yellow, orange, and red but the average temperature is in the 70s during the day.

This canna lily bloomed today in all its orange glory.
